1. RIGHT TO A PROFESSIONAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
All learners have the right to a fair, focused, and respectful academic environment. Decorum and professional behavior are mandatory to ensure that the «Brain Gym» remains an effective space for all participants.
- Professional Conduct: Participants must interact with courtesy. Hostile comments, derogatory language, or aggressive behavior toward the facilitator or other learners are strictly prohibited.
- Academic Integrity: This is a specialized language-learning space. Distractions or parallel activities that detract from the group’s focus are discouraged.
2. SYNCHRONOUS SESSION PROTOCOLS (ZOOM)
To ensure the high-intensity drills function correctly, participants must adhere to these technical and social rules:
- Chat Window Use: The Zoom chat window is a dedicated pedagogical tool. It must be used strictly for typing exercises, word sets, and drills as directed by the facilitator. Non-lesson related chatting, links, or off-topic comments are considered disruptive.
- Balanced Participation: The facilitator ensures a balanced distribution of time among active learners. A simple random selection process is used to call on participants. You have the right to skip a turn if needed.
- Audio/Visual Etiquette:
- Microphones: Must remain OFF when not speaking to eliminate background noise. Environments with significant background noise are highly discouraged.
- Cameras: Regularly remain OFF to focus on the digital board and multimedia games, unless otherwise requested for a specific drill.
- Arrival & Departure: You may arrive late or leave early, provided you do so without causing interruptions. Please enter silently and catch up with the current drill.
3. CONTENT SECURITY & PLATFORM INTEGRITY
Access to the Ciberimpulso SAS – Advantage Learning learning platform and its contents is a privilege, not an inherent right.
- No Reverse Engineering: Participants are strictly prohibited from attempting to decompile, reverse-engineer, or extract the source code or bilingual logic of the multimedia games, flashcards, or interactive boards.
- Prohibition of Copying: Any unauthorized copying, downloading, or scraping of images, audio cues, text sets, question banks, or exercises from the platform is a violation of international copyright law and these terms.
- Non-Transferable Access: Your access credentials and session links are non-transferable. Only one individual participant is authorized per ticket. Sharing links with unauthorized third parties is grounds for immediate termination of access.
4. PROHIBITION OF RECORDING & VOICE/IMAGE RIGHTS
To protect the privacy of all learners and the intellectual property of the facilitator:
- No Recording: All forms of local or cloud recording (audio, video, or screen capture) are strictly prohibited.
- Voice and Image: The facilitator’s voice, pedagogical style, and image are proprietary assets. Unauthorized broadcasting or «cloning» of these assets into any technology—known or unknown—is a material breach of contract.
5. GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL & ENFORCEMENT
Ciberimpulso SAS reserves the right to maintain the integrity of the learning environment.
- Immediate Dismissal: Disruptive behavior, violation of content security rules (copying/reverse engineering), or unauthorized recording will result in immediate dismissal from the session and a permanent ban from the platform.
- No Refunds: Any user dismissed for violating this Code of Conduct is NOT entitled to a refund, compensation, or any claim for consequential damages. Breach of these terms constitutes a waiver of the satisfaction guarantee.
- Dispute Resolution: In the event of a disagreement, resolution will be conducted constructively through the Ciberimpulso SAS authorized means ( e.g. Cámara de comercio de Bogotá) and governed by Colombian Legislation exclusively, without interrupting the live learning session for other participants.
